This Food Lion is very well-organized and well-put together. There were staff members everywhere available to help and they were all friendly, each one nodding and saying hello. It's a larger store so there isn't a feeling of being cramped. The cashier was nice and friendly as well. Overall, a very good experience, and I would shop there again.
The Food Lion in Angier is a very nice store although customer service was not as good as I expected, because I am used to Kroger or Harris Teeter and their policy is the customer is always right and if you thought a product was a different price as a general rule they give you the price you thought it was. Because sometimes the way products are arranged on shelves make it difficult to decipher which product is the sale item.. and I've never had a problem with getting the price I thought it was at Harris Teeter or Kroger... And when I complained it to Food Lion about that practice of deception which is common in all grocery stores... They took three customers in front of me before they went to check the price on the bread that I thought was on sale and so for a 2 minutes stop it was 20 minutes when I called back and ask to speak to a manager they did address the problem satisfactorily.. I will still use Food Lion I just hope their customer service gets better
Food Lion has everything a family needs for weekly meals. Prices are the best of any grocery store.
I only come here occasionally, when I visit town, but everyone has always been nice, and the store always kept clean
